against Newcastle United, but it sure doesn’t FEEL like it. That’s probably because the 5-1 loss at St. James’ back in 2016 is permanently seared into the hindbrains of every Spurs supporter that was around to witness it. But let’s face it — Newcastle are just not very good. They’ve got some weapons — Joelinton and Miguel Almiron are dangerous in attack. DeAndre Yedlin can stretch defenses with his pace. And Voldemort Jonjo Shelvey is undoubtedly an excellent passer. But these are two teams heading in opposite directions. The good news is that Son Heung-Min is back for Spurs after completing his suspension. Harry Kane is on form. Tanguy Ndombele is out with a knock, but there’s still lots of talent in this Spurs side. Surely they can handle a winless Newcastle at home, right?
